I know all of you are familiar with the Sims game(or is still hooked on it like i am!) I can't explain it really why i love playng this game or why these types of games are so popular to the masses right now!
Is it because our real life is crapy so we have to create this new life in a game? Probably the next best thing of having our dream life is through a game! Or is it the feeling the game gives us. Like if we play sims for example we are in control of a characters life, we can do whatever we want with it...Its like playing God. Well not really but a bit close to it right?
I recently discovered that there are a number of games similar to The Sims available on the web today and the number of people playing it is enormous! Usually kids but i know some who are in their mid-20's who's still playing them (me for example!)
Well whatever the reason is people are more and more hooked with their cyber life than living their own real life...Like they spend more time doing things in front of their pc than hanging out with friends or trying to meet new people in real life. I get bothered by it sometimes. But people in RP are much kinder than people in my RL. I mean i have friends and they are really great to be with but they are different with my RP friends. In RP you make the rules and you don't have to please anybody...
